Started making last week in UK. cant quite get it right though they taste nice.
Bought a steel griddle so will go and but an iron one.
Flour in UK, is either wholemeal-tasted good but differnt in 'looks' to your sand doesn't blow up.
Can one use strong white bread flour?
I bought a roti flour from an Indian store but it seems the outcome tatses more like a nan. Maybe not the right flour?
Also bought wholemeal plain flour but comes out browner-tatses good but different to yours.
will persevere!

A good trick is to put some oil on your hands and rub them together-this keeps flour soft and good consistency.

You are absolutely wonderful to watch! Enough practice after four rotis? :-) Mine are becoming round now after a year- you make it look so easy. Keep these great videos coming.

Hello auntie, I was wondering if you use a gas or electric hob because our cooker is electric and the roti never seems to poof up properly..... Do you have any tips that might help?
